Snopes.com: Check it before you post it!
You know all those posts you see on Facebook or e-mail forwards, about so and so's kid went missing or the latest changing your profile picture to a cartoon was for pedophiles, well before you re-post or foward these e-mails check them out on www.snopes.com. I know it never hurts to re-post some of these things b/c what if they are real, but it only takes a second to do a little research either instead of propagating a rumor.
